Abstract :
The MSP-3000 floating-point array processor Is compatible with Digital Equipment Corp. minicomputers. It uses the DEC 32-bit floating-point format for data input, output, and processing. Constructed on six circuit boards and designed around an integral minicomputer and a 64-kilobyte to 2-megabyte dual-ported memory, it can. compute a complex multiplication in 16 microseconds or a 1024-point fast-Fourier transform (FFT) in 7.0 ms. Basic operation time is 200 ns.
