Abstract :
This paper deals with the quantitative study of three major routes-Galveston to the Persian Gulf, New York to Rotterdam, and New York to the Persian Gulf-for ships over 2000 gross tons. An assessment is made of the collision-free traverse over the chosen routes. Estimates are valid for the anticipated life of these ships.
