Abstract
The author argues that the original paper "Operation of Ground Sensor Relays Under Conditions of Partial CT Saturation" by B. Bridger et al. (see ibid., vol. 33, p. 1111-16, 1997) would have had added value if the conclusions summarized at the end of it had included a statement that the fact that core balance-type ground sensors normally operate with the current transformers\´ (CT\´s) being saturated should be factored into the ground fault protection relay coordination curves. The original authors\´ reply to these comments are also presented.
