Abstract :
This paper presents a 2-unit cold standby system in which each unit has two components and the life time of the components are s-dependent. Considering Marshall & Olkin bivariate exponential life and repair time distribution, we obtain the steady-state probabilities and the steady-state abailability without using Laplace transforms. The Assumptions of the model are given in this paper. The equations, analysis, and results are in a separately available Supplement [1].
