Meeting preview: ELECTRO ´78: Beans, brown bread, and Boston: 36 technical sessions organized by Program Chairman Brian Dale´s committee promise toothsome technical fare, too

With more exhibitors, and more floor space available for their product presentation than in the previous two years, ELECTRO ´78 ¿ to be held in Boston´s Hynes Auditorium and Sheraton-Boston Hotel, May 23¿25 ¿ promises to surpass the successes of the first two ELECTROs, in Boston (1976) and New York (1977). Living up to its theme ¿Look Ahead,¿ ELECTRO ´78 will have some 350 exhibitors in 662 booths (last year there were 315 exhibitors in 560 booths) and an anticipated attendance of 25 000 persons ¿ fewer than last year´s 26 293 New York attendees, but far ahead of 1976´s 21 645 Boston attendance.
