Abstract
This paper deals with the monitoring of physical parameters involved in a regular agriculture plantation, for example a tea-garden. Wireless Sensor Networks have previously been used for many purposes involving monitoring, and also for agriculture. Here, we have used the Wireless Sensor Network module of National Instruments, and the LabVIEW software for human-machine interface. The data collected on the field is sent to the base station, from where it is sent over local area network through the TCP/IP protocol.
