Abstract :
It is demonstrated in this brief that the two predominant methods for simulating an active LC ladder-operational simulation and element replacement-result in exactly the same active transconductance-capacitor filter circuit. Neither method, therefore, has any practical advantages or disadvantages over the other. Rather, a procedure can be selected purely for the designer´s convenience
