Abstract :
It is shown that the basic cascaded unit elements wave digital filter can be used to process simultaneously two signals which are skewed by half the sampling period. This property is exploited in the design of a novel architecture which is based on a single two port adaptor and which can be used to implement both cascaded unit elements and lattice wave digital filters
