Abstract :
Describes the development of radar detectors which provide the motorist with an advance warning that speed traps or moving radar are operating nearby. The key components in the radar detectors are the microwave diodes. Two types of radar design-the passive radar detector and the heterodyne detector are described. Legal implications of these devices are discussed.
