New product applications: 1-GHz bandwidth, highest so far, achieved in a laboratory oscilloscope

The Model 7104 general-purpose laboratory plug-in oscilloscope sets new standards of performance with its 1-GHz bandwidth and 20-cm/ns writing rate. The instrument also features a horizontal (x-y) bandwidth of dc to 350 MHz, rise time of 350 ps, and calibrated sweep speeds up to 200 ps/division. Vertical sensitivity ranges from 10 mV to 1 V per division.
