Abstract
The Society and the IEEE have begun publishing IEEE Signal Processing Letters in both electronic and hardcopy forms. This project is experimental for several reasons, with one reason being that no one knows what forms electronic publication will take. Some of the participating Societies are publishing CD-ROM versions of their transactions, but the purpose of the experiment is to try online electronic publishing. The electronic version of SP Letters mimics the printed version, and contains all the equations and graphics found in every article. Dubbed E-SP Letters, it is available to all Signal Processing Society members via the Web
