Abstract :
This paper deals with the statistical estimation for a 2-unit warm-standby repairable system. Two sampling schemes are considered. Consistent asymptotically s-normal estimators for the constant failure and repair rates of the units are provided. Maximum likelihood equations are solved iteratively using Newton-Raphson procedure. The results are compiled in a table.
