Abstract :
Congratulations to IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) and IEEE Women in Engineering Magazine! We are the proud recipients of two APEX awards for publication excellence and a Grand APEX award for the Nerd Girls video produced by IEEE.tv. We would also like to recognize the “WIE Ship the Chip” video, which documented our outreach visit with 100 young girls that was sponsored by our industry collaborator, the Microsoft Corporation. The video is one of the most popular videos viewed on IEEE.tv and remains a shining example that demonstrates the power of IEEE WIE collaborations with our members, educators, and industry partners.
