Abstract :
Aiming at the currently exist problems about costly and low communication reliability of fault passage indicator communication networking mode in distribution system, a ZigBee based networking scheme of fault indication system is proposed. A fault information wireless sensor network composed of numerous fault Passage indicators is built. The sensing network equipment, network structure and equipment installation position problems are introduced. A number of key parameters about ZigBee technology in this scheme are tested. The experimental results show that the ZigBee based fault information sensor network has high communication reliability, which can satisfy all practical key parameters, especially suitable for the distribution network overhead line network application. This system could combine with the distribution automation system to realize distribution line fault location and on-line monitoring, and it has good application prospects.
