Abstract :
A simple and efficient way of analysing the transient response of thin-wire antennas with connected passive linear elements is described. The method can easily be implemented in any existing code based on the solution, using a marching-on-in-time procedure, of the time-domain electric-field integral equation for thin wires. Two examples of antennas designed using reactive loads are analysed and the results are compared with those obtained using the NEC code
