Abstract :
In this paper, the different aspects of a heart model including electrical activity, blood flow, and behaviour at cellular level are presented. Heart modelling has become a driver for systems biology aiming to make medicine more analytical. Its therapeutic potential for planning surgical treatments and drug developments are discussed.
