Abstract :
This paper presents MobiHealth system, a mobile health care service which enables remote patient monitoring and treatment by combining advanced wireless communications with a wireless body area network linked to sensors. The paper also discusses the service platform architecture, trials, engineering challenges, and future plans and applications of the MobiHealth system.
