The European Institute for Industrial Leadership is breathing new life into management learning, says it executive director, Steve Price. The EIIL is specifically about helping its members in the engineering and technology sector to attract and recruit talented young technologists and to assist them in their journey to reaching senior leadership positions. The aim is to help European industry retain and develop the role models who can inspire future generations into a technology-based career. As Price says, with the predicted shortages of engineers in certain key sectors over the next few decades, this ambition is now more important than ever.
