Abstract :
As the Space Shuttle Atlantis touched down at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida on 21 July, a spectacular 30-year era of space exploration was brought to a close. In honour of the technological accomplishments of the space shuttle programme and its 135 missions, I thought it only appropriate to dedicate this column to drinks technology in space!
