Abstract :
This special issue is devoted to advanced signal processing techniques used in astronomy and cosmology that enable progress in solving the major problems in observational astronomy.The first part of this special issue deals with digital interferometry in the radio and optical domains, while the second part deals with applications of signal processing to cosmology.
