New product applications: Two-board data-acquisition system for TM990 microcomputer operates with a single instruction

With a single instruction, the ASC1080 analog input board, which is electrically and physically compatible with the Texas Instrument TM990 microcomputer family, can initiate a conversion cycle on a specific channel, fetch the converted data, operate on that data, and store the result. A second board, the ASC1081 analog output unit, can also convert the input word to an analog signal, with a single instruction.
