Whitehead (by letter): In conjunction with Professor Bennett´s paper^∗ last year at Cooperstown, the present paper completes a description of the equipment with which he has obtained his interesting and valuable results on the corona. The transformer which he describes, by offering a means for measuring the corona current, should open up a wide field of investigation. The possibility, as demonstrated by Professor Bennett, of neutralizing the charging current is especially valuable.
