New product application: Microprocessor-controlled D-size plotter is sheet-fed, automates color and line-width selection

The HP 7580A plotter incorporates a ¿micro-grip¿ drive that moves sheets of the plotting medium in one direction over an airfoll-shaped bed, while the pen carriage operates in the perpendicular direction. The large-format plotter operates with paper, vellum, or polyester film. The plotter can be programmed for up to eight colors or line widths.
