Abstract
A rectangular cavity-backed active microstrip patch antenna has been investigated Experimental results show that 25 dB oscillator noise reduction can be achieved for the active patch antenna at a carrier frequency of 4.1 GHz and an offset frequency of 8 kHz by using a rectangular cavity
