Abstract :
An integrative wideband direction of arrival (DOA) estimation method is proposed based on a novel data model using the concept of sparse representation. The new method makes full use of the frequency distribution of a received signal to generate the over-complete dictionary. The method requires no prior information of signal number. No spectral decomposition or focusing is necessary for either coherent or incoherent signals.
