Abstract
In this issue, "Best of the Web" presents online resources related to bioinformatics and computational biology. According to Wikipedia, bioinformatics is the application of information technology to the field of molecular biology. It was applied in the creation and maintenance of a database to store biological information such as nucleotide and amino acid sequences. The actual process of analyzing and interpreting data is referred to as another common term, computational biology.
