Abstract :
The authors present data and analysis of a system outage that occurred on a vertical busway system. The outage occurred when a 196 ft vertical section of busway was saturated with water following the rupture of nearby mechanical system piping. A moisture-removal procedure was initiated and data recorded periodically as the drying progressed. A brief description of the damaged busway system, as well as the circumstances surrounding the incident, are presented. Preliminary conclusions are given. In addition, system recovery cycle tables are presented
