Abstract :
A complete method to calculate the motor controller power loss and temperature rising in electric vehicle was proposed based on drive-charge integrated system project. The circuit topology was designed. The system power loss was calculated including IGBT switching loss, fly-wheel diode switching loss, IGBT conduction loss and fly-wheel diode conduction loss. According to the power loss result, the heat sink temperature rising was analyzed. The calculation method and temperature rising analyze provide design basis for motor controller.
