Abstract :
A novel concept for an automatic multistandard chroma decoder is described. It includes an integrated double baseband chroma delay line and integrated biquad trap filters. The circuit, which provides complete multistandard chroma decoding without any external adjustment, is fully bus-controlled with a reply mode. SVHS signals, applied to the circuit, are automatically detected by the standard research cycles. It has been achieved in a double poly BiCMOS 2-μm process. This circuit is implanted on a 20-mm2 chip and is assembled in a 30-pin package
