Abstract :
Two novel LSI (large-scale-integrated circuit) chips for multi-picture function have been developed. These are an aspect ratio converter of IDTV (improved-definition TV) signals and a picture-in-picture processor for HDTV (high-definition TV) and NTSC signals.
