Abstract :
In this paper, it is proposed a new structure type of the HTS electrical machine. In this new structure, the part of excitation could use of permanent magnet which has the same polarity in radial direction. The cage bar structure could be designed for the part of armature. Then, through the magnetic circuit design, the electromagnetic induction current should be direct current which in the armature windings. Therefore, when the HTS material is used in the armature windings, it would be avoided to the AC loss.
