  • Abstract
    Recently, as China´s urbanization accelerating, large numbers of municipal solid wastes have increased rapidly. How to dispose so many rubbishes timely and rapid becomes an urgent issue. Traditional sanitation garbage trucks plays an important role in collecting and transiting rubbishes, but the traditional sanitation garbage trucks have lots of disadvantages while PTO(Power take off) working, such as low energy efficiency, harsh noises. As hybrid technologies developing in vehicles, there is a new way of electric PTO to solve the problem. This article makes analyses of energy consumptions of electric PTO and traditional engine PTO, and then makes tests to confirm the conclusions. It has a great effect on improving energy efficiency and reducing urban noise pollution.
