Abstract
A description is given of the National Technological University (NTU) which presents its courses by television, supplemented by computer conferencing, electronic mail, and telephone. The university offers only studies leading to the Master of Science degree in various branches of technology. It is an offspring of the Association for Media-Based Continuing Education for Engineers (AMCEE), a consortium of 24 engineering schools based in Atlanta, GA, set up to provide short courses on engineering subjects by video. To conduct its academic functions, the National Technological University relies on a participating faculty consisting of consultants selected from the instructional faculty of each participating institution.
