Abstract
Electric Variable Transmission (EVT), as a new kind of electromechanical energy converter, can be used in hybrid electric power train to make the engine operate efficiently by decoupling the engine speed from the wheels. To further study and develop control strategies of EVT based HEV on the test bench, real driving environment is required. For this purpose, this thesis designs a dSPACE based hardware-in-the-loop simulation platform for the HEV power train based on EVT, including a load emulation system, a hybrid control system, and a driver model. Firstly, the load emulation system is built by calculating the road model and the acceleration to emulate the non-inertia resistance and the inertia resistance respectively. Secondly, a simple driver model is used to achieve the speed tracking of the power train. Finally, along with the load emulation system and the driver model, the EVT based power train control strategy is tested and verified in experiments.
