Abstract :
This paper describes the design of a flexible ATM network interface (ANI) providing traffic integration especially for B-ISDN terminal adapter (TA) and network adapter (NA) applications. The proposed ANI can carry all types of traffic and protocols (i.e. LAN, ISDN, frame relay, video, etc.) efficiently using simplified interface primitives
