Abstract :
MAP decoding of LUEP codes in both the original and the spectral domains is presented. Decoding in the spectral domain is shown to require less computational effort compared with the original domain. Numerical examples based on MAP decoding of a (9, 4) LUEP code in the spectral domain are presented
