Abstract :
The performance of digital cellular radio systems with maximal ratio combining (MRC) diversity is analysed in a flat-fading Rayleigh channel with cochannel interference and additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN). Closed-form expressions are derived for the outage probability in the presence of multiple independent Rayleigh faded interferers
