Abstract :
The Programmable logic devices such as field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) are useful for a wide range of applications. In this paper, Based on the Super Buck circuit topology, the energy management system for the high-voltage lithium battery banks, expecting to be used in the field of aerospace, is discussed and designed. A detailed analysis of the converter topology of operating principle is given, and the relevant theory formulas are derived. Simultaneously, the control scheme based on the FPGA controller is introduced. A 5 kW prototype based on the Super Buck is built. Experimental results verify the validity of the theoretical analysis and the prototype design.
