Abstract :
This paper solves the problem that traditional Transfer Path Analysis (TPA) cannot be used when having more than one excitation source as the input. Multiple references transfer path analysis will be used to analyze the vertical vibration of steering wheel based on finite element simulation. And the force signals at 4 spindles induced by road excitation as the initial incoherent excitation signals. Firstly, Principal component analysis (PCA) converts this multiple-excitation-sources problem into a superposition of several individual single-excitation-source problems. And then the traditional TPA can be used to get the true path-contributions.
