Abstract :
The Permanent Magnetic Operating Mechanism of high voltage circuit breaker would generate eddy current in the dynamic and static iron core, therefore, the coupling method was used to analyze the transient magnetic field and the mathematical model of the nonlinear transient magnetic field was deduced. The software Ansoft was used to comparative analyze the changes of electromagnetic force, action time and other parameters of monostable Square Permanent Magnetic Operating Mechanism (SPMOM) with different materials and structures. The results show that the action time of SPMOM will increase for the effect of eddy current and the eddy current loss is great.
