Abstract :
The history and activities of the National Technological University (NTU), a consortium of 28 universities that have instructional television (ITV) systems serving educational needs of practicing engineers, are summarized. Then a description is given of how two introductory microwave courses are taught on the NTU network. The production and distribution systems that facilitate the delivery of microwave course material to industrial employees are described, and the methods used to assign homework and conduct examinations are discussed
