  • Abstract
From a management perspective there may be nothing more frightening than to learn that your software development project is going over schedule and budget. The implied cost increase to complete the project may pale in comparison to the costs of lost public credibility and delaying the software launch. Worse yet, it´s usually difficult if not impossible to predict just when the project will be done. It may be tomorrow or next year. Taking control of the situation and achieving the original objective can seem impossible
