Abstract :
In this letter, the use of Monte Carlo analysis is introduced for calculating the current rating of high-pressure oil-filled (HPOF) pipe-type cable. It is shown that the current rating may differ by ±9.25% from its deterministic value if 10% variations in the random parameters of the cable system are assumed
