[The way ahead]

“What topics do you wish you had in your undergraduate education?” This question was posed on my Facebook fan page, and I decided to base this column on that question. Two warnings: I received my undergraduate education about 45 years ago—a time when things were different from now—and although I was educated as an electrical engineer, my attitude is more that of a scientist.
