  • Abstract
In the beginning of the 21st century, cars are available to many people, and the dominant energy infrastructure is comprised of gasoline stations. Clean source electric vehicles are desired but the electric power grid needs an extensive and smart upgrade. Gas-electric hybrid vehicles have returned with advanced electronic controls as the "now" solution to energy concerns. (The "gas" moniker includes gasoline, diesel, and ethynol-85, among others) Let\´s review a few basic hybrid categories.
