Abstract :
Third harmonic excitation synchronous machine based on open-winding is not dependent on permanent magnetic material, and the excitation magnetic field is convenient to adjust. What´s more, power density of this machine is higher than normal electrical excitation machine because of no separate exciter, which is suitable for electric cars and wind power. The basic principle of brushless harmonic excitation synchronous machine system has been analysis. Separation and control method of fundamental and harmonic current component in the stator has been studied. Simulation and experiment has carried on , the results show the validity of the theoretical analysis.
