Editorial

It was a great privilege to be given the opportunity to be the Guest Editor of this Special Issue of papers arising from the 8th European Wave and Tidal Energy Conference (EWTEC 2009), on 7-10 September 2009 in Uppsala, Sweden. The event is the largest on issues related to Ocean Energy and is usually held every two years.
