Abstract :
The application of parallel-processing techniques to the general area of control systems design and implementation is currently a very active research topic and offers the promise of major breakthroughs for currently intractable problems. The article uses some reported work on the use of a hypercube multiprocessor to discuss the design computations aspect. Simultaneously, some possible future research topics in this general area are highlighted
