Abstract :
Multiwavelength operation is demonstrated using the combination of an erbium-doped fibre laser and a Brillouin fibre laser where Brillouin-shifted lasing signals are fed back into a Brillouin material and enhanced by an erbium-doped fibre amplifier. It is confirmed that a Brillouin pump can control the number of lasing lines in the laser
