Abstract
A new expression for the frequency dependence of complex targets is suggested according to geometric and physical optics approximation. Using a method based on this expression the frequency dependence of radar cross sections can be computed to aid model measurement within a small frequency region. For verification and comparison, the measurement of the model is carried out in the microwave band (8.0-8.2 GHz). Computed results (from 8.0 to 11.0 GHz) are in good agreement with the measured data
